Super-Star Special Thanks

To our first Star Wrangler of the HDHC, Christopher Kirk. Christopher has donated countless hours since our nonprofit's inception in early 2002, working alongside the HDHC's CEO Millicent Sheridan, he showed amazing love and commitment to our horse rescues' lifesaving needs, our corporate needs, including but not limited to our website updates and design. With his undying commitment to the noble creature we call the horse, Christopher Kirk, with your red mohawk mojo, you can make any rescued horse turn and give you their undivided attention as you lovingly tend to their needs. The HDHC thanks you.
Dr. Perdue, DVM of BDP Equine, Inc. has not only been there in less than an hour from Simi Valley to save one of our horse's lives but he and his incredible equine family believes in our cause and treats our little organization with as much love and care as those quarter-million dollar ponies he tends to daily. We send our gratitude.
Special thanks to the Internal Revenue Service's 501(c)3 Division for finally recognizing the hard work of our dolls and wranglers by ending out 5-year probationary period knowing that every penny goes to the horses and kids in need in our great country and around our wonderful world. We are still proud to say that not one human in this organization has ever been paid a cent for their love, time and dedication. Thanks for noticing that we dotted every i and crossed every T.
We would like to thank Leah Brandon, news anchor on KFI 640AM for her undying pledge to stop horse slaughter in this country and around the world. Her personal rescues include Chief, a retired rent string horse, Lucky's Revenge, minutes from death and rescued by Leah with her personal friend, the famous (and politically controversial) talk show host John Zigler, and Scout, her newest thoroughbred who looks like Dylan's long lost brother.
Thank you to Fashion Wholesaler for the 12 classic western hats donated to us for the Hollywood Santa Parade. Thanks for helping us look fabulous while we work to raise awareness for our cause.
Much thanks to Erin Bush-Berrich, CFO and event coordinator, for her countless hours raising tens of thousands for our charitable causes all while being one of the top special education teachers in Southern California. Don't know how she did it, but we love and thank her. Also, congratulations on her marriage to Nick Berrich this summer.
Thank you, Vee Miller, supervising engineer at the Department of Water and Power not only for continuing support of our St. Jude and Foster Kid's annual charities but for always wrangling up a couple of big, strong DWP engineers to help us put up our tents. Thanks for providing all the horses and humans in LA County with safe and clean drinking water.
The Hollywood Dolls would like to thank Despina Beazoglou ESQ. for all her love and knowledge in overseeing so many legal details it would take years to list.
Special thanks to Gerald Lee at Right Brain Law in Glendale for the donation of his extensive legal expertise in forming our
non-profit organization.
Our undying gratitude goes to Muffy Hayes, former head of P.R. at the Southern California Foster Family & Adoption Agency, for her endless love of the children and belief in our
horseback riding program since our inception. We are proud to have her on our board of directors and congratulate her on her recent marriage.
Special thanks go out to our club photographers, Gary Gray and Jud McKelvey. Simply amazing, gentlemen; walking backwards... on a red carpet... for 3 miles! We Dolls thank you for all of your artistic wizardry.
The Hollywood Dolls Horse Club, Inc. thanks Harry Oganesyan and Joe Bajakajian at Joe's Auto Service (6228 Franklin Avenue in Hollywood) for the generous donation of their facility where we held our Car Wash Fundraiser. The mechanics at Joe's service not only the rich and famous in the Hollywood Hills but cater to the mechanical needs of our Dolls and Wranglers.
The Hollywood Dolls Horse Club, thanks our original team of makeup artists, including Sandra Woodring, our Super-Star Mom of the Year, for her generosity and magical talent (Wow! Raquel and the Duke!). We Dolls also thank her amazing crew of Artists. Thank you, Michael Johnston, for without you Marilyn would not have come to life. Thank you, Bob Romero, who recreated Liz Taylor to a T. Dawn Woodring, you are simply fantastic. Thank you, Pat Garner & Cinema Secrets in Toluca Lake for our Hair Designs. Thank you, Bijoux Deluxe, for keeping our dolls powdered & glossed through bomb-threats and black-outs during our first parade, and for being head makeup artist for our film, Out On Trail.
The Hollywood Dolls would like to thank HDHC Board Member and “Doll” Cynthia Ward Walker and “Wrangler” David Sheffield for their continuous support of our cause.
They are not only the coolest married couple in Hollywood, they are truly amazing Horse Owners and Horse Rescuers. “Ride On” Horse Couple, We Love You!
