Diana
Diana started riding horses when she was 8 years old in New Delhi, India.
She spent the first few years competing in jumping competitions and
gymkhanas. Always an adrenaline junkie, her favorite activities were
galloping her horse around the old racetrack behind the barn or jumping,
both while bareback. The daughter of an American Diplomat, Diana was able
to improve her horse riding skills all over the world as she moved to
different countries every 2-3 years.
She landed in Los Angeles to go to college and quickly picked up polo.
She played polo for USC and was the captain of the women's team for her
junior and senior years. After graduating, she continued playing polo for
a short while before going back to her first love of jumping. She worked
with a trainer in hopes of eventually competing in Grand Prix jumping,
until the pressures of her career started taking up too much time.
Today Diana has found a more balanced life for herself. She quit the
corporate world to open her own business for animal lovers,
www.PETiculART.com. Still an
adrenaline junkie, she spends her free time doing triathlons or kung fu
(she's now an orange belt), or relaxing on a trail ride with friends.
A firm believer in animal rescue, Diana was happy to join the Hollywood
Dolls and support such a unique cause; to be able to help both horses and
children in need. She currently does not have her own horse, but she is
more than happy riding the horses that have been pegged as too 'spirited'
or difficult to ride.
