Felice
The Chairwoman of the HDHC is Felice Smith De Moreno. Felice is a
Southern California native by birth and at the ago of 8, she worked
for the Sunset Ranch Smith family back when a few original hardened
cowboys could still be found around Los Angeles. After college she
became a self-made millionaire as a software programmer, and
currently consults around the globe for a top IT Company.
Felice can be seen as the lead "Stuntwoman Doll" on the rescued
paint horse Sugar, owned by JD Crowley, in the HDHC's short film
"Out On Trail".
Felice and her husband Dairo live footsteps away from
the world famous Hollywood Sign and the incredible horse
trails of Griffith Park. They own Angel, the Mama Dog,
Pixie, one of the pups sired by the legend himself, Crow
the Ranch Dog, and a little rescued pup named Chimichurria.
Felice’s family owns a thoroughbred brood mare named
“Ruby Tuesday”, and can’t wait to have another horse
boarded locally for her to love and ride and share with
her new husband Diaro and her new extended family from
New York to Colombia.
The entire HDHC shares with Felice, the treasured memories
of 27 year old quarter horse “Stinger”, a whirlwind of
an animal who always fancied himself and let all others
know he was a force to be reckoned with. We miss him dearly.
